Commons:Bibliowiki
Bibliowiki (formerly Wikilivres) is a site with similar goals to Commons but which is not maintained by the Wikimedia Foundation (WMF). It is hosted in Canada. There is some overlap between users of WMF sites, members of Wikimedia Canada, and the Wikilivres community but no formal relationship.
Bibliowiki is a helpful alternative for some media which are not public domain in the United States but which are in Canada. Since Canada observes a rule of a shorter term for copyrights and the United States a longer one, some media will become public domain there 20 years before it can be admitted to Commons.
Material is routinely ported from here and Wikisource to that site so that it is still available online.
Users can create links to Bibliowiki using the interwiki map by typing [[wikilivres:foo]]. Standard linking syntax also works so that entering [[wikilivres:foo|bar]] will only display bar with a link to the intended target.
Like Commons and Old Wikisource, Bibliowiki is multilingual and encourages the translation of the interface and of texts ported there.
