Description
Deutsch: Demonstrationsversuch zur Wärmeausdehnung: Bolzensprenger.
  1. Der Zugstab (b) wird rechts mit dem Haltebolzen (c) in der Haltevorrichtung (d) befestigt und mit der Mutter (a) festgezogen.
  2. Der Zugstab wird mit einer Flamme (e) erhitzt und dehnt sich aus. Die Mutter wird dabei regelmäßig nachgezogen um die Längenausdehnung auszugleichen.
  3. Der Zugstab kühlt sich ab und zieht mit zunehmender Kraft am Bolzen, so dass dieser sich verbiegt oder sogar abreißt.

  1. The tension rod (b) is locked using bolt (c) in the bracket (d) and fastened with the nut (a).
  2. The tension rod is heated with a flame (e) and thus expands. The nut is retightened subsequently to compensate the thermal expansion.
  3. The tension rod cools down and contracts. This creates an increasing force on the bolt, until it is finally deformed or even torn off.

  1. Une vis (b) est bloquée par sa tête (d) dans une double potence (d) et calée de l'autre côté par un écrou.
