Description |
English: Castelsarrasin, Tarn-et-Garonne. Town hall. Building built between 1823 and 1825 by architect Rivet. The pediment has an illuminating clock manufactured by the greatest watchmaker of the time, the Parisian Lepaute, in 1847; this clock is framed by the statues of Minerva (trade) and Ceres (agriculture), work of the Toulouse sculptor Palat. Français: Castelsarrasin, Tarn-et-Garonne. Hotel de Ville. Édifice construit entre 1823 et 1825 par l’architecte Rivet Le fronton possède une horloge éclairante fabriquée par le plus grand horloger de l'époque, le Parisien Lepaute, en 1847 ; cette horloge étant encadrée des statues de Minerve (commerce) et Cérès (agriculture), œuvre du sculpteur toulousain Palat.
