English: A female Sand Wasp (Bembix oculata) in a sandy habitat. Notice the comb in the front legs, used to dig and cover the holes in the ground.
Français : Bembicinée (Bembix oculata) femelle. Ces hyménoptères proches des guêpes vivent dans des habitats sablonneux. Noter les peignes sur les pattes avant qui permettent a l'animal de creuser des trous dans le sable et d'en fermer l'entrée.
