People images[edit]

Hi when you upload photo of a person can you add category in which they fit on image page or create their own page with gallery and place that in category i.e. in Francis Ford Coppola in Category:Film directors so people can find the image easily. Thanks! en:User_talk:Arniep

Deletion[edit]

Hello! I tagged your image, Bucovina Romania Ukraine.png for deletion, because it includes Botosani County in Bucovina, which is inaccurate. this image: MapRegionsRomania.png is the correct one. Your image sparked a debate at [1]. If you have any reason for the inclusion of Botosani county in the historical region of Bucovina, please say it. Thank you.

Later edit. I am asking because here: [2] and here: [3] two other people also included Botosani county in bucovina, so I think something must be true about it. We at ro.wiki would really apreciate if you could clear this for us. Thank you again.

Misidentified image File:Euphorbia amygdaloides bgiu.jpg[edit]

Hi Bogdan,
Your photograph above (lefmost photo in the gallery) cannot be Euphorbia amygdaloides because the bract-like leaves just below the flowers, which always occur in pairs, are not at all fused. Euphorbia amygdaloides has these connate (fused) pairs of special leaves just below the flowers. You can see in the closeup image how this is supposed to look. Unfortunately I am unable to find a correct ID for your photograph. So I moved it to Category:Unidentified Euphorbia and added Category:Misidentified plants.

Dear author,

we would like to use the following picture for a biodiversity handout to train and inform farmers in the field of biodiversity:

https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Centaurea_nigrescens_subsp._nigrescens_bgiu.jpg

The question is whether you are the author of this picture (wikipedia says Bogdan assumed based on copyright claims) and if so, whether you are fine with using it.

Your name along with a link to the original file and the creative common license will be named in the picture index (sorted by page number and order of pictures).

I would be very grateful if you could give me a short answer.

Kind regards, Ulrike Harant
