File:Prophase procariotic mitosis.svg spelling[edit]
Hi! Sorry to bother you about this, but File:Prophase procariotic mitosis.svg has a spelling error—"Nucleolus disapears" should be "Nucleolus disappears". Annoying English double letters, I know.—Kelvinsong (talk) 22:32, 24 May 2013 (UTC)
File:Prophase eukaryotic mitosis.svg spelling[edit]
There's another error on File:Prophase eukaryotic mitosis.svg. "entrosome" should be "centrosome" and "miotic" should be "mitotic". I've made thesew changes but I don't know how to replace the file.

This media may be deleted. |
Thanks for uploading File:Lancaster Pennsylvania seal.svg. I notice that the file page either doesn't contain enough information about the license or it contains contradictory information about the license, so the copyright status is unclear.
If you created this file yourself, then you must provide a valid copyright tag. For example, you can tag it with {{self|GFDL|cc-by-sa-all}} to release it under the multi-license GFDL plus Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike All-version license or you can tag it with {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain. (See Commons:Copyright tags for the full list of license tags that you can use.) If you did not create the file yourself or if it is a derivative of another work that is possibly subject to copyright protection, then you must specify where you found it (e.g. usually a link to the web page where you got it), you must provide proof that it has a license that is acceptable for Commons (e.g. usually a link to the terms of use for content from that page), and you must add an appropriate license tag. If you did not create the file yourself and the specific source and license information is not available on the web, you must obtain permission through the OTRS system and follow the procedure described there. Note that any unsourced or improperly licensed files will be deleted one week after they have been marked as lacking proper information, as described in criteria for deletion. If you have uploaded other files, please confirm that you have provided the proper information for those files, too. If you have any questions about licenses please ask at Commons:Village pump/Copyright or see our help pages. Thank you. |

Fame preceding[edit]
Hello, Lady. Just a quick note to let you know that it seems your fame precedes you, and I have now come across you twice from entirely different angles which is always reassuring. That is all. Just thought you might enjoy knowing. KDS444 (talk) 08:09, 1 September 2013 (UTC)
Moral rights[edit]
Hi there We are proposing to use a number of your diagrams (e.g. "Plant Cell Structure") in educational software material. We note that your licence is "without any conditions". However, in Australia, our law confers "moral rights" (e.g. right of attribution, right of integrity in the work" etc.) automatically on the creators of works. Can you confirm that you wish to waive these moral rights in the diagrams? Alternatively, we are happy to abide by these moral rights. In which case, can you please provide us with the details that we will require to correctly attribute authorship in the work. Many thanks
if you dont sign your comment i can not answer you. send me an email or something so i can contact you. -LadyofHats (talk) 07:04, 3 July 2014 (UTC)

Dear Wikimedians,
Wikimedia Commons is happy to announce that the 2013 Picture of the Year competition is now open. This year will be the eighth edition of the annual Wikimedia Commons photo competition, which recognizes exceptional contributions by users on Wikimedia Commons. Wikimedia users are invited to vote for their favorite images featured on Commons during the last year (2013) to produce a single Picture of the Year.
Hundreds of images that have been rated Featured Pictures by the international Wikimedia Commons community in the past year are all entered in this competition. These images include professional animal and plant shots, breathtaking panoramas and skylines, restorations of historical images, photographs portraying the world's best architecture, impressive human portraits, and so much more.
For your convenience, we have sorted the images into topical categories. Two rounds of voting will be held: In the first round, you may vote for as many images as you like. The top 30 overall and the most popular image in each category will continue to the final. In the final round, you may vote for just one image to become the Picture of the Year.
Round 1 will end on . Click here to learn more and vote »
Thanks,
the Wikimedia Commons Picture of the Year committee

Hello LadyofHats,
would you really say that you don't have saved your original work (as you told with Adobe Illustrator) in a vector format? It would be nice to have translations. All your work is very good (PS. it is no problem to replace a file with another file format) Greetings → User: Perhelion 07:13, 30 June 2014 (UTC)
-mmm this was one of the first images i ever did i will have to dig arround to see if i still have the ai. -LadyofHats (talk) 07:11, 3 July 2014 (UTC)

Thanks for the many images that you've generated, they're of very high quality and I see them used regularly! I've started a discussion about one of two of your older images of the skeleton on the English WP here: en:Wikipedia:Featured_picture_candidates/delist/Images_of_the_human_skeleton. I'm very appreciative of the effort you've put in, but have noticed some things about the image which may need to be changed. Cheers LT910001 (talk) 21:28, 22 December 2014 (UTC) |
Featured Picture delist nomination on en[edit]
The above section may have been intended to be a delist notification. In the interest of making this more transparent (I think the nominator is doing a terrible job), I'm posting this separate notification here for your attention. I hope we can get around to addressing the concerns, as a preference. Samsara (talk) 17:46, 26 December 2014 (UTC)

Versions in File:DM206sm.jpg[edit]
Hi! There are 4 more highly valuable different drawings in File:DM206sm.jpg. They are all your complete own work, right? Please suggest names to split them off. You may do this yourself or i may do at Commons:History merging and splitting/Requests. Thanks for all of your great works! --Itu (talk) 09:40, 5 June 2016 (UTC)

New protein structure image[edit]
Hi, I just wanted to let you know that I was inspired by your File:Main protein structure levels en.svg image to create an updated, interactive version for w:Protein structure. All the best, T.Shafee(Evo﹠Evo)talk 12:53, 5 November 2016 (UTC)
File:Mitosis cells sequence.svg[edit]
Hi, sorry to bother you but I would like to point out a few errors in this diagram File:Mitosis cells sequence.svg. From anaphase and until cytokinesis microtubules also play a major part in cell division, they contact in the middle of the cell and form spindle midzone, it looks approximately like this. I've put a disputed accuracy template on that image; maybe someone else might change it. Alas, it's made most probably in illustrator, and I myself work in CoredDraw and strange errors crop up when one tries to convert one file format to the other. Anyway, it is a wonderful diagram and I really like it, it's clear and easy to understand, so it'd be nice to have this error fixed (and in the derivative works too)... if you have spare time :) --Helixitta (t.) 14:41, 6 March 2017 (UTC)

Compliment on Hypo-plastic Left Heart Syndrome[edit]
I would like to compliment "Lady of Hats" for the extremely informative article on Hypo-plastic Left Heart Syndrome. My beautiful great-grandson died on Jan. 4, 2017 from this malady. The doctors at CHOP (Children's Hospital of Philadelphia) could not understand how little Alvin survived for 10 months and 3 days. Finally I understand the severity of this disease through the description and detailed illustrations and would like to compliment those responsible for these articles. J. SVG-text[edit]
Hi LadyofHats. Thank you very much for File:Toxoplasmosis life cycle en.svg. I'd love to change the text and make an Afrikaans version, but when I download the file and open it in inkscape I am unable to change the text and if I open it in notepad I cannot find the text bits either. Am I doing something wrong? Of course I could just delete your text boxes in inkscape and put in my own but I'd rather not mess up your design.
