Can you make a logo for LMR 3D Print Club?

A 3D print Club needs a logo. and yes, of course it needs to be downloadable, so it can be printed out ;)

There is no prize other than fame and glory - but it would be a great help if you could make a nice and cool 3D printable logo, and link to it / share it in the comments below.

I am writing this text solely for the purpose of bumping up this post.

I so hope a genious out there would make a logo for the LMR 3D Print Club that both looks good.. and can be downloaded as an .STL / .OBJ or something.

If anyone who has real experience with 3d printing software wants to take a crack at it, here's a starting point at least.

Includes .mtl and .obj as well as support files for the ping sensor.  Looks like this:

I didn't pay much attention to color since most 3d printers only do one color at a time. It's made from sketchup warehouse parts so there's not a lot of work in it.   I just did it to encourage others to take the ball and run (like bird did with the birdboard.)  I think it's scaled so the sensor is about life-sized, but I can't be sure how different programs will interperet it.

I'm concerned that there isn't a way to print this correctly, from what little I know about 3d printing.  I don't know if the "M" or the tubes on the front of the sensor are printable the way I have it (kind of a reverse corbelled arch.)  Again, I don't know much about 3d Printing.  I just figured someone could take what I have and move it forward.

Anyway, I'm storing the files on my personal website.  I'll take them down after the New Year, so dl them now!

im not good at digital drawing, so here is mu mashup consept of a logo idea:

the idea is the old logo half way through being 3D printet. only the 3D printer part would also have to be cartoony :)

its just an idea and if someone likes it they can use it and draw it properly :D

 

btw the idea of a 3D printable loge for the 3D Printer club sound awesome and way better than my idea!

Luckily I have some expertise in the area of 3D modelling :D That will be what I do today.

what if they printed out to be buisness cards kind of like the kossel card for the auto level demo
