This shield for the FRDM-KL25Z allows controlling 18 SOT-23 FETs to pull down external non-inductive loads. It was originally designed to drive two large 7-segment displays and a DSLR for a photo booth application. The control function has since been moved to an i.MX6Q Sabre SD board…

Soldering the QFN is a little bit of a pain: use gentle hot air or a hot plate. Pre-tin the pad ring first. Solder the tab after the pad ring is soldered.
