It has been suggested that this template should be merged with Template:Remove border. (discuss) Reason: Both templates mean the same, keep it simple.

Use {{trimming|date=2016-08-09|comment=suggestion}} to put images in category:Images requiring trimming. This template is used to tag images as containing large white space or unnecessary detail, which needs to be trimmed out of the image.
