As I understand from another thread, a full 8' build is not possible based on the precision of the extrusion at those lengths. On the Ox build, it seems the limit is 4'x2'. Is this the case? Could the gantry not be expanded to a full 4' with that same design?
A full 8' build is possible. You just have to join two extrusion together. If we are talking about the same thread then joining it was discussed there too.
Yes, I am designing around being able to build a 50x50 cut area using 1500mm rail. going to build the first one using just 1000mm rail to be sure.
