Found this cool easy to use inexpensive ($25) software that creates GCode from a DXF.
    Free demo available as well
    • Supports .dxfDrawings
    • Automatic functions for object generation, holding tabs and overcuts.
    • Supports pocketing / pockets with islands and drilling.
    • Postprocessors for most controls

    Hi,

there is a new beta version of Estlcam 7:

    • Support for 3D STL Files
    • Itegrated USB CNC Controller (using an Arduino)
    • Almost every control has now a quite well explaining tooltip (although online documentation for the English version is still poor I must admid)
The price went up to $50 but there are no functional restrictions on the free version except it will start to pause after some time.

I hope this is OK as first post - I've just found this forum after googling my Software ;)

This is great thank you Christian and welcome to OpenBuilds :thumbsup:Also feel free to make this a software resource if you would like. Its a awesome program that bridges the gap between design and real life models.
Thank you for keeping it affordable and easy to use.

This certainly looks like an excellent software at an excellent price I will have to give it a try.
