    Yes cool design. you just solved some of my problems with your design. Pls did you test it ? Do you beleive it could work also in biger dimensions such us 1500 mm the Y axis and 750 mm the X axis ?

    Hi DelMar,
    No, it´s just in the design phase. No tests so far. Extending the lenght should be not so critical, extending the gantry will add weight. That might cause problems at higher accelerations. Also the elongation of the belt could cause higher tolerances.
    But i thing it depends on the application and you needs.

    Hi Frank. I really didn't think so about the tolerances of the belt. What if I use acme screws and nuts at X and Z axis and belt for Y . You think will be more accurate ? And what about the acceleration ? You think would be ok to use the nema 23 to all axis? As about the use is for woodworks mostly and some small alou parts .
