Using a LM7805 to regulate voltage to 5v. Input can be from 7-12v for a 5v output. I stated the 9v input because of the usual 9v batteries used for these small projects.

The pads with + and - are for soldering the headers (male/female) you want in order to use on a breadboard. It’s up to you what you prefer!
