Magic Trackpad Plugger copy

by Wxll.

2 layer board of 3.94x0.55 inches (100.00x14.02 mm).

This board is exactly the right size to replace the two AA batteries in an Apple Magic Trackpad. Connect the two power lines from a USB cable to the input jack. Connect a wire from the + terminal on the other end so that it juts out and touches the terminal inside the trackpad. Connect a stiff wire to the - terminal on the side and bend it so that it rides against the inside of the chamber. Use a cork to replace the original metal plug and connect the USB cable to a USB port.

The circuit is just a 3.3 volt (close enough) linear regulator with its related support caps.

No more AA batteries!

ATtiny 25/45/85 Header SMD v1.0 r2.1

by Wxll.

2 layer board of 0.87x1.33 inches (22.15x33.86 mm).

A header board which can be sticked into a breadboard and creates a fully working ATtiny(25/45/85) setup. Included are the (original) features:

  • 6pin ISP connector for programming the ATtiny
  • Reset button for resetting the ATtiny
  • Every pin of the ATtiny is usable on the breadboard
  • Using a resonator for the clock frequency
  • The ATtiny is still a TH version and uses a DIP8 package for easy swap with another ATtiny.

This is a fork of the “through hole” version of the excellent work of djmason9. I’ve converted the board into a smaller SMD version 0.87x1.33 inches (22.15x33.86 mm). The original work of DJMason can be found: here
