by Jenner.

2 layer board of 1.61x0.66 inches (40.79x16.69 mm).

Simple Atmega328-based AVR programmer with ISP and FTDI breakout. I use this with Nick Gammon’s Arduino Progarmmer sketch to put the bootloader on other AVR chips.

The board has surface mount parts which may be easier to solder with paste or tinned pads and a hot plate, toaster oven, or hot air rework station.

To put the bootloader on this board, set the switch to ‘Target’.

To use this board to put the bootloader on a target board, set the switch to ‘Prog’.

The Github repo has the design and parts list.
