Dynamo Charger with diode bridge LED light connections (white power LEDs, red and amber leds with optional resistor), a circuit protection transistor with diode that drains to a 3W resistor over 6.2volts DC.

4-cond./3.5mm to SPI 8-char. LED driver. U2=MAX7221 (or equiv.), U1=MAX9075, DD=BAS70-05, SJ-43514, C4=.1uF, R4=100K, R1-R2=10K, R3=3.3K, R5=22K. Data or Clock=High -> Load=Low. 1) Bring Data high. 2) Clock out the data. (Clock keeps Load low if all data = 0.) 3) Stop - bring both clock and data low. 4) Load goes high shortly after. Multiple displays may share the Data pin - use Clock as the unique display enable pin. (Load will go up-n-down but nothing happens if there is no clocking.)
