CNC MILLING ROUTER

Frog CNC Router. Inspired by OX and "Routy". Models provided in SolidWorks 2010 format. Currently 24" by 36" working area.

This small desktop machine is built inside a 300mm cube of 20mm extrusion. Work area is 14cm by 14cm. I used 400 step nema17 motors all around.

This build was very complex due to the fact I wanted to create a low cost larger than normal CNC. I did not want a MDF or plastic body. I wanted it to be able to do more than most CNC routers this size on the market.

The Start of my OX inspired cnc router, I wanted to have a built in table and thus this idea was born.

The method used for tool position setting is a matter of personal choice but this is what I do.

Here is my Project A CNC 3000 mm by 1500 mm, with a 2.2kW spindle collet ER25 and 4 stepper motor nema 23 425oz-in. The purpose being to have a large work surface for a minimum cost.
