Well, its a generic development board.

Atmega328 with adafruit joystick and click for input, 4 bit lcd interface, rgb led for mode output, gpio with pullups, gpio paired with groud for outlets.

LCD interface trimmers pots for contrast and backlight.

ICSP 6 pin header.

Serial header

External Resonator/Crystal option.

Read in IR using a TSOP sensor and output via two constant current IR LEDs. Frequency can be calibrated using a POT.

Detector and IR LEDs should be out of sign of each other.
