A couple of years back we at everything RF created a Cable Assembly Builder tool. The objective of this tool was to enable users to get quotations on custom cable assembly requirements from multiple manufacturers simultaneously. So, we built a cable assembly inquiry form and added about 50 manufacturers to who the requirement will be sent. We did not feature this section on the site and let it lie in the background. However, after multiple requests from users we think its time to get this back on the site. Click here to try it out! How it Works
Step 1: Fill out a form which specifies your cable assembly requirement - Connector A, Connector B and the Cable. For connectors you can specify the Type, Gender, Geometry, Mounting etc. and then enter details about the cable type - Rigid, Flex etc. Specify the length of the cable. And in the note, enter any specific requirements that the user might have - Particular Cable Type, LOW PIM, Quantity, Lead Time or anything else that you feel is relevant.
Step 2: Enter your contact details. If you are signed in to everything RF - This information will be filled out by default. This is where the manufacturers will contact you, so make sure its accurate.
Step 3: Select Manufacturers. We have listed over 50 manufacturers to whom your inquiry will be sent out to. All of them are selected by default. You can un-select the ones from whom you do not want a quotation. On submission, you inquiry will be sent to all the manufacturers you selected.
Step 4: Submit your inquiry and sit back. Your requirement and your contact information will be sent to the selected manufacturers, who will get back to you directly.
