The HHPAV-592 from HXI is a power amplifier that operates from 64 to 71 GHz. It delivers a gain of 32 dB with an output power of more than 18 dBm. The amplifier requires a supply voltage of 6 VDC and consumes up to 450 mA of current. It is available in a module that measures 1.31 x 1.34 x 0.97 inches with WR-15 waveguide interfaces in an in-line configuration using the standard UG-385/U flange. The amplifier is ideal for point-to-point radios, radar transmitters, 5G and WiGig development and test equipment applications. It has a voltage regulator and bias sequencing circuitry allowing the use of a single bias to power the amplifier.
